First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PCNA.
Salesforce Administrator
I interviewed for a Senior Salesforce Administrator position. The hiring manager (director of CRM) seemed distracted, frequently turning their camera on and off and eating during our conversation. This made it hard to have a focused discussion. I think interviews work best when everyone is attentive and set up properly. The overall process was straightforward, but the interview itself could have been more professional, matching the seniority of the role.
- Can you describe your experience with various Salesforce admin scenarios, specifically regarding Flow and automations?
National Account Manager
The interview process was straightforward, well-organized, and super transparent. I started by meeting the hiring manager, who laid out clearly what was expected, the challenges involved, and the objectives for the National Account Manager position. Every discussion centered on real-life situations, enhancing customer experiences, and my methods for building relationships with national accounts. They kept me updated consistently, provided clear timelines, and everyone I talked to was professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in finding the right person. All in all, it was one of the most structured and pleasant interview experiences I've had in the promotional products field.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
Copywriter
I had two good interviews and a screening call with five different people at PCNA. Halfway through my third interview, the interviewer brought up a lack of specific experience, which was unexpected as none of the previous five people I'd spoken with had mentioned any missing experience. Also, it was my third interview and I wouldn't have expected to get this far if I was unqualified. Shortly after, the interviewer seemed to just go through the motions, and a few days later I was told they went with someone else. Seems like a good company with good people, but there might be some miscommunications between the staff.
- Could you share a particular project that you are proud of?
Sales
Got a fast reply after applying, but the recruiter, Alma, was super unprofessional and ghosted me. We had a phone call where she said I'd hear back in a few days from her or the hiring manager, but I never got any email or call. I tried calling and left a message, but it's been a week with no response, and I can't even email her since she didn't give me her email. What's crazy is she told me I was really qualified for the job but then never followed up? It's pretty wild. Honestly, it's their loss because I would've crushed this role, but I guess they're not looking for really qualified people who could help their company grow. Bad hiring strategy, in my opinion.
