Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PCI Energy Solutions.
Business Analyst
The interview process is pretty straightforward. They're more interested in your thought process than if you have the exact right answers. This is good because they don't judge your skills based on that.
- How do you see this role fitting you and what are your future plans for it?
Business Analyst
I was contacted by a recruiter and went through 2 lengthy on-site interviews, each lasting 2 hours. The first on-site was technical; they had me learn the software's components for an hour and then interviewed me for another hour about it. The second on-site focused on situational questions about my experience. After the second on-site, I waited over a week with no update. I followed up with the recruiter but never got a reply, they ghosted me. I received an offer elsewhere, so it doesn't bother me much, but I dislike their candidate handling. These interview processes often reflect the company.
- Could you answer technical questions about the software you learned during the assigned technical task?
Business Analyst Intern
I applied online for the intern position and heard back from a hiring manager within two weeks. After reviewing my resume, they invited me for an onsite interview. The interview consisted of three rounds: two technical and one managerial. The discussion mainly focused on my previous experience and the software and tools I was familiar with.
- Imagine a client calls reporting an issue with the product. What would be your response?
