Technical Designer
emailed me shortly after applying asking to set up an interview and was quickly scheduled. The interview was virtual and pretty casual. Interviewers were very pleasant and questions were typical and straight forward. They were good about responding via email. Didn't get the job but got some great feedback when I asked - apparently writing a cover letter was a great way to set me apart from applicants and it goes a long way to know your stuff about the firm to be prepared.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this company?
IT Procurement Specialist
The first interview was a virtual chat with a recruiter, which went pretty smoothly. She asked about my background and experience. The second interview was also virtual, this time with the CTO, who went into detail about my experience and my current job. The third interview was in person with the CTO and two other people. They asked me how I could improve the process, apply changes, and showcase my skills.

- What are your career goals for the next five years?
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Project Manager
I got referred by a friend who worked there and was immediately contacted for a phone interview. Since I was out of town, the second interview was via Skype with the partners. The third interview was in person with another partner who was to be my immediate supervisor. All my interviews were very professional, except my prospective supervisor only had 15 minutes due to a prior commitment, which I saw as unprofessional. I was made an offer that same day. The written offer the company issues is generic and I believe it's on purpose. It doesn't state a position, job description, or role. It only welcomes you to the PBK team, states the salary, and starting date. This came back to haunt me when my title and role didn't match what was discussed in the interviews. Although I had other written documentation confirming what was discussed in the interviews, it was never admitted there was a mismatch in expectations.

Technical Drafter, Architectural
I had two video interviews but both times the guy interviewing me was driving and never turned his camera on. Then I had an in-person interview and got an offer. After that, the head of their office started texting me instead of emailing. When I declined, he kept texting and emailing me unprofessional stuff and frustrated sentiments.
