It was a rather smooth interview process done in several stages. The coding task was challenging at times but interesting. Meeting with tech leads was rather relaxed and friendly, with technical questions related to Java, memory, and OOP.

The interview process kicked off with an HR call, followed by a HackerRank test, and then the main interview. First up was a 30-minute video chat with the recruiter. They wanted to know about my understanding of the company, my past experiences, personal projects, and any related issues, plus some behavioral questions. The technical part lasted an hour with two developers. We mostly talked about OOP, collections, and relational databases. Near the end, I was given a few problems to work through. They were super patient and helpful, making it a good experience overall.

It started with a recruiter call, which was a bit difficult because I wasn't able to talk at first, so we rescheduled. They ended up calling a few days later at another inconvenient time. After that, I had a coding test, which I found to be too short on time. The next step was a 2-hour interview with HR and four developers. They asked typical questions for the role, but seemed to want textbook answers, as they frequently corrected my explanations even when I felt I was saying the same thing in different words. There was also a straightforward live coding exercise.
