Product Manager
I applied for a Product Manager position and got an email asking for my availability for a phone interview. I was asked to provide several time slots and dates and to email an HR manager with my availability and confirm my phone number. I've sent two emails to the HR manager and even followed up on LinkedIn, but I haven't received any response. It's frustrating because if the role was filled, they should have let me know. This has been the most unprofessional job search experience I've had.

Product Manager
The whole thing took about 3-4 weeks. We had 3 interviews. First, a recruiter call, then the hiring manager, and then the HM's manager. The recruiter was super helpful, keeping me in the loop. Everyone was really positive during the interviews.

Product Manager
I had an initial phone chat with HR. Then they wanted me to come to their office in another city, but didn't even offer to help with travel costs. I got just 24 hours notice to fly out. When I got there, I had to wait a bit before they started. They were so slow. The interviewers didn't seem to have a plan. They asked some questions based on my resume about payments. They seemed like very technical folks with specific ideas, looking only for candidates who fit those ideas, but they didn't explain what they were looking for. After it was over, I figured the whole thing could've been a video call. If they'd actually read my resume properly and knew what they wanted, they might not have needed to interview me at all.
- Can you describe the process of acquiring merchants?
