Client Service Representative
I had an interview here about a year ago and it still makes me mad. The recruiter said it'd be a behavioral interview, so I prepared for that. But when I got to the interview, the interviewer started with a sarcastic "interesting resume..." comment. Then the panel asked me about my very first jobs, like the laundromat and burger stand I worked at when I was 15. All the questions were about that, and they only left about five minutes at the end for normal interview questions or stuff relevant to the job. I didn't get to talk about my relevant experience or how it would help in the role, and I didn't get an offer. It felt like a waste of time. I've never had a more useless or rude interview. If this is how they do things at Paylocity, I don't want to work there. Maybe it's normal for them, or maybe the interviewers were last-minute replacements. Either way, it was a joke and I found a job elsewhere.
- Can you tell me about the jobs you held when you were 15 years old?
- Could you elaborate on your employment experiences from when you were fifteen?
Client Service Representative
The interview was very unprofessional and fake, with a dominating vibe. The interviewers seemed unprepared and were trying to fake it. They appeared to have made up their mind about me before the interview even started. They asked entry-level questions and didn't use the STAR method. They didn't seem interested in understanding the depth of my accomplishments or how they related to the role I was applying for. When I mentioned I recently owned my own business, there was no excitement or further questions about it. They seemed bored with me. I have a consistent work history and explained my background well to show my career path. I withdrew my application after the interview, so I don't know about an offer. The three coworkers seemed disconnected, giving a preview of what working there might be like. It felt like a waste of my time and energy.
- Regarding your past applications to call centers while working in Merchandising, could you specify where you applied and your thoughts on why you weren't hired?
- What are your strategies for boosting or maintaining morale within a team?
Client Service Representative
First, there was a phone call with a recruiter. Then I completed some online paperwork. Finally, I had an in-person meeting with 2-3 Team Leads or Managers. The initial phone chat covered my past work experience and the skills I thought I could contribute. The in-person part got into more specifics about the role, how my background fits, and my ability to manage stress and difficult client situations.
- What are your strategies for managing difficult client escalations?
- Can you describe how you cope with job-related stress?
