I arrived on time and waited in the front of the store for 20 minutes until the manager finished her break. She then asked me to go to the back room. She asked standard questions like 'how would you handle stress' and 'tell me about a time you helped a customer.' The interview proceeded fine until she mentioned she doesn't like hiring military spouses or military brats because they never work out, which was really insulting. After the interview, she informed me that there are six more interviews before she chooses three candidates for the next round. It seems like a ridiculously long process for a part-time associate, especially with a manager who discriminates.

I sent in my application online and they reached out with a phone call about a week later to set up an interview. The interviewer was running late, which made me wait around awkwardly. She was really nice though and asked basic questions about my knowledge of the company and my thoughts on customer service. She mentioned she'd let me know within two weeks about the job, but I never heard back. I ended up calling them three weeks after the interview and was told they no longer had any openings available.

The interview process was quite simple and straightforward. The questions asked were pretty general and standard. The manager took some time to briefly talk about the company's history, mission statement, and the job requirements/tasks. They also answered my questions about hour flexibility/variance. I had originally applied online, and the interview itself was a one-on-one with the manager. I was called back and offered the position the very next day. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Confirmed questions2 questions

  • Have you ever demonstrated teamwork? Please provide an example.
