First, I had a super quick phone screen with HR. They asked about my SQL experience duration and my salary expectations. The second interview was a bit tough. The third interview was mainly to make sure I'd be happy in the role.

Had an initial phone screen with a recruiter who was really informative and helpful. They asked about my current job and workload, and how I manage it. Then they explained the role here and asked about my comfort level with the expected workload, advising me to be realistic as it's a lot. They emphasized that previous client interaction experience is a huge selling point. I got an offer just two days after my in-person interview.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone screening with a junior HR person, then another phone screening with a more senior HR person. After that, I had an in-person meeting with the department manager, followed by in-person meetings with two upper managers/executives and one HR person. The interviewers were nice, but they were very serious and focused on the process, and everyone seemed in a hurry, just covering the main points. It was pretty standard overall.

  • Do all companies use the same manual for interview questions?
  • Did you prepare generic and role-specific answers?
