Customer Success Manager
I started with a recruiter call and was told I'd have an interview with the hiring manager, followed by a take-home project. Then I got emails from two different recruiters for the second interview, which was confusing. The hiring manager interview went well, and I was told the recruiter would contact me about the project. After almost a week with no contact, I emailed, and the recruiter was out of office. I emailed the other recruiter with no response, then both recruiters, and was told I was being passed back to the original recruiter. I emailed that recruiter, who didn't respond, so I emailed again. He finally responded, saying he'd left me a message (he hadn't) and had been at a work event, asking me to reach out about other positions. I was confused as I was interested in the job I applied for. It's upsetting when recruiters don't do their job, and the casual offer to look at other roles after this 'cluster' of a process is not something I'd want to pursue.

Customer Success Manager
Got contacted by the recruiter for a phone screen. They mentioned the salary range on LinkedIn (54K-88K) wasn't accurate, and it was actually 75K-80K, with them rarely offering at 80K. Also, the job description had wrong info about travel (said 25%, but it's none). These inaccuracies were the first red flags. After the phone screen, I was supposed to have a Zoom with the hiring manager. But on Friday evening, they called saying they wanted to hire someone ASAP and wanted to skip to the case study. So, I prepped for the case study and then interviewed with a 3-person panel: the hiring manager, a director, and a potential teammate. They were nice. I sent a thank you email with my presentation to the recruiter for the panel, but never heard back if it was sent or received. Same with the case study, no confirmation it was received. After two business days with no response, I emailed the recruiter about my candidacy status and was totally ghosted. The recruiter's poor communication, the incorrect job details, and the rush to hire were big red flags. I think I dodged a bullet.

The interview process was seamless, with great communication and was easy. Each person I met with was extremely helpful and patient. Doing interviews over Zoom is the new normal, and everyone made it feel comfortable and encouraging.
