Customer Support Representative
Interview process was smooth. Recruiter answered all my questions. Then, an in-person interview was set up where I talked to the key people I'd be working with. They asked basic questions about my experience and how I would handle certain situations. It's good to share your thought process when problem-solving.
- Can you share an example of a challenging customer interaction and how you resolved it?
- Tell me about your background.
- How would you approach specific scenarios?
Customer Service Associate
My interviews were all on the same day, 30 minutes each, one after the other, all over Zoom! The process was super simple and put me at ease during my interviews. I felt like I could really connect with everyone and still had enough time to answer questions and ask my own. I felt supported throughout the whole thing. It was a great experience.
- Can you share an instance where you were unsure of an answer and how you found a resolution?
- Describe a situation where you prioritized a customer's needs over the company's best interest.
- Tell me about a time you faced a significant challenge at work.
Customer Support Representative
The interview process began with a brief phone call. Following that, I was given some essay-style questions focusing on customer service. Then, I had an in-person interview that lasted about two hours and involved three interviewers. About a week later, I was told I'd get an offer, but they had to wait for hiring approval. They initially said an answer would come by the end of the week, and since the next training was three weeks away, they thought it would be soon. However, a week turned into two, and the answer became indefinite. I had to postpone a coding program I was supposed to start, as they assured me they definitely wanted to hire me and I should make my own plans. I delayed my schooling for two months because of their assurances. But after a month of no updates, communication stopped. It's now been two months since my interview, and the people who were so keen on hiring me have completely ghosted me. It's been a really bad experience, putting my life on hold due to their empty promises. I wouldn't suggest this company.
- What would you do if a customer contacted you with a request you'd never encountered before?
- Can you briefly describe your technical background?
- How would you handle a situation where a colleague from another department asks for a personal, work-related favor that would prevent you from meeting your daily targets?
