The interview process was really great, honestly one of my favorite and most insightful experiences. The recruiter, Mariette, was amazing and gave me tons of info about the job and company. After that, I had a 2-hour interview with 4 people from the CSM team. It felt more like a conversation, which was nice and made me feel less nervous. The team was super professional, empathetic, and really knew their stuff about the role and the company. This whole process made me sure that PatientPop is where I want to be as a CSM.

Behavioral Other

The interview process started with a quick recruiter phone call covering standard questions. After that, there was a take-home assignment to complete within 24 hours. I then had a video interview, since I'm relocating to LA, with four people from the customer success team that lasted about 2.5 hours. It was mostly behavioral questions, more than 20 which felt like a lot. Two of the interviewers were kind of intense and I felt like I didn't have a shot with them from the start. One of them, specifically, was really condescending and had a bad attitude. I think it's a bad practice to rely so heavily on behavioral questions in interviews and encourage people to make up stories instead of being genuine. It seems like the company wants their CSMs to just BS customers.

Mariette was a key part of my onboarding, making my transition into PatientPop really smooth. She was always available to answer questions and really showed what PatientPop is all about – that it's the people behind the product that matter. She made my move into the company easy and was super understanding, just like we are with our patients. Working with Mariette was great and a good first impression of PatientPop. I'm so grateful for her help.
