Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pathway Capital Management.
Intern
The interview process was fast. I had two separate 30-minute meetings, one with an Associate and another with a VP. The atmosphere felt pretty friendly, and the work dynamic seemed pretty standard. Most of the questions were behavioral.
- Can you explain your interest in private markets over public markets?
Intern
I had several one-on-one interviews with different team members. It was pretty relaxed overall. They asked some technical questions, but they weren't too difficult. Make sure you understand what the company does and its position in the private markets.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Intern
So basically I had an excel test first, it was checking general knowledge and data analysis skills. After that, I had multiple interviews and a case study. The whole process was pretty good and the people were helpful. They let me prepare for the case study ahead of time. My advice is to prep for competencies and really know the market and the role you're applying for.
