Team Lead
The whole thing was pretty quick, finished in under a week. There were two interviews, first with the store manager who asked stuff about my managing skills and qualities. Then I met with the district manager, which felt like a total waste of time. He totally zoned out and made me feel like I was just wasting his time.
- What would you do if an employee was always late?
Team Lead
The interview was laid back, casual, and kind of conversational. There weren't really any hard questions, mostly just scenarios asking what you would do. This was a long time ago, when the company was just moving into the area. Nowadays, the interview process is much more involved.
- Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
- How did you handle a difficult situation?
- Are you scared of heights?
Team Lead
You'll have two interviews. First up is the store manager and assistant manager. Then you'll meet the District Manager for your second interview. For the first interview, they ask basic questions. The store manager uses an interview sheet and you answer everything. Then, their assistant manager asks similar questions to check out your personality. After a few days, you'll go back to interview with the District Manager. This might take a while because the District Manager could be in another state depending on the location. Then, you'll do a drug test. After that, you'll come in for a day to tour the store, get a feel for your role, and then you'll start working.
- Tell me about a challenging situation or task you faced when you were under a lot of pressure and had to lead. How did you handle it and what was the result?
