It was a 3 round process. First interview was with a junior analyst or associate, then the next interview was with a more senior member of the team. Lastly, there was the superday which was about 3 hours long and consisted of interviews and case studies.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Partners Group and specifically the Financial Analyst program?

The interview process started with a 60-minute meeting via MS Teams. This was with an associate or someone more senior. We talked about my motivation, the infrastructure team specifics, financial modelling, how models work, infrastructure debt covenants, and a portfolio company.

So, the interview was a back-to-back thing. It kicked off with a chat with the hiring manager. We covered a bunch of technical stuff like net debt, working capital, how to value things, EV, and equity value. After that, there was an Excel test where I had to do a valuation.
