Had an initial informal chat, then a formal interview (Round 1) which went really well. After that, I was given a case study to work on, which I spent a lot of time on and documented in a Word doc. Then came the next round, which had two parts. First, I presented the case study, which was a bit awkward as the interviewer didn't seem engaged. In the second part of that round, the interviewer asked me about the case study, and when I started discussing it, I realized he might not have even reviewed my submission. I asked 'did you look at my case study,' and after a pause, he said 'No.' I immediately regretted asking and then just fumbled through the remaining five minutes. He was also responding to emails during our call and cut the interview short.

The first round involved standard behavioral and background questions. You should be ready to talk about your resume and how your past experiences fit the role and your interests. There are multiple rounds in total. The first round is a phone screening.

A staffing agency reached out to me about the job. I had one 30-minute call with a Team Lead. About half the call was spent learning about Partners Capital, and the other half was for me to discuss my background and interest in joining. There wasn't much time for questions, and only some behavioral questions were asked, no technical ones.
