Product Manager
Started with a recruiter chat, then talked to the hiring manager about my past work and challenges. Then I met a stakeholder who works closely with the CEO. It felt like they wanted people who would just agree with leadership and not do their own research, kind of like what Glassdoor reviews say about the company culture. Haven't heard back in two weeks.

Customer Success Manager
So I actually applied for a different job at first, but ended up switching to this CSM role partway through the interviews. In total, I went through 9 interviews for both positions. It included a product presentation where I had to research the company and product beforehand to prepare. I also had to submit 3 references from previous employers. The whole process was quite lengthy and involved a lot of detail, so I definitely had to put in some prep work. But, it was totally worth it in the end because I got a really good offer and I'm sure this is the right place for me. Since all the jobs in the EU are fully remote, they talk to a lot of people to make sure it's a good fit, since you won't be in the office together.

BDR Representative
First, an HR Recruiter reached out for a 15-20 minute call. If that went well, I had a 30-45 minute virtual meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I met with a team member. I thought the last meeting would be a casual meet and greet, but it turned out to be more like an intense grilling, almost as if I was speaking to the hiring manager again. The conversation with the hiring manager was good, and he was quite transparent. However, the deep dive with that team member felt very rigid and rushed, and he's only been there a short time himself. It's a shame because the corporate culture seemed great, and overall it looks like a good organization to be a part of.

Senior Software Engineer
Got a call from the recruiter end of December about the role in Vancouver, my experience with microservices and salary expectations. In January, I had a chat with the hiring manager about my background and projects. He talked about the company and asked me to briefly describe my last project's design and a simple data structure question. Then, a mid-level engineer interviewed me, asking more about microservices and a KMP algorithm string matching question. After that, a senior person asked about deployment, CI/CD, and agile, mixing technical and behavioral topics. The next round was challenging, with many observability questions, which was fun. Finally, the hiring manager checked for cultural fit. It was a really nice experience; everyone was great. I would have accepted the offer if it came on time.
