The recruiter set up the interview with the hiring manager. It was super basic questions about my background. The hiring manager didn't seem that into it, and it felt like they already had someone else picked out and it was a waste of my time. I followed up with the recruiter two weeks after the interview about the status, but never heard back. I eventually got that standard email saying they went with someone else. Parkview also seemed like a company that was struggling, based on the vibe from the hiring manager.

So I had an HR person call me, they asked me if I had any questions about the job and then told me that they didn't know anything about the job so they couldn't answer them. I asked about the nature of working for Parkview and the interviewer implied I was being too "Career" hungry when I asked how parkview treats its employees who hope to be apart of their network and more up in their careers, which is an HR question. Overall bad experience and it's stupid that they have HR people screening for jobs and berating potential employees when they can't even answer relevant questions themselves.

My first interview went really well, they said I was a good fit and I was stoked to possibly join Parkview since I'd done similar stuff for their foundation years ago. They set up a second interview with management and the team, but then I got a generic rejection email from HR the day before. It was super disappointing and unprofessional as a finalist, regardless of any hiring pressure.
