It started with a recruiter screening call to check qualifications. After that, I had a 30-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager, where we discussed the daily responsibilities and my skills.

I applied through LinkedIn for a marketing executive role at Paramount. Initially, I got an email invitation for a screening call, and I sent over my availability. After not getting a confirmation, I followed up. Later that evening, the interviewer confirmed they would speak with me the next day at 11 am. On the day of the call, I heard nothing. After 15 minutes, I emailed to check if it was still happening. About 30 minutes later, I received an email asking me to resend my CV and phone number because they couldn't find my application. Before I could reply, I got a call an hour late. The interviewer explained the delay was due to not finding my application, without an apology. They asked why I applied and about my beneficial skills. They also asked me to speak slower, which was unexpected, and inquired about bonuses in my previous role. My responses seemed to bore them, and they were dismissive when I talked about my current work. At the end, they said my CV would be forwarded, despite my background being mostly in contract catering and hospitality, not film. It wasn't a good screening call.

Applied online via the website, and about a week after, HR emailed me for a phone interview. The recruiter asked about my background and interests, like my familiarity with Viacom networks. They then sent me to a specific department based on my interests and available openings, and I had a phone interview with them! About a week after that, I was offered an internship with Logo TV social media.
