Client Service Representative
I applied online and heard back within a week to schedule a recruiter call. The recruiter asked about my background, how I found the job, why I applied, and my interest in the company's specific segment. He was nice and even shared the salary upfront. The next day, I was contacted by two managers for another interview. They asked situational questions, about my experience, and similar questions. Both interviews seemed focused on assessing genuine interest in sales. The overall experience was average, and all three interviewers were pleasant. Despite the interviews, I didn't get an offer, but I'm not too upset as I realized you really need to like sales for that environment.

Client Services Manager
I applied for the Client Services Manager job on Indeed and a recruiter from CBS Interactive reached out. The first step was a phone interview on Monday to chat about my background, what I do now, and my salary. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview that Friday with the Director. I got there a bit early but still had to wait in the lobby for about ten minutes past my appointment time. I felt the interview went well and I really liked meeting the Director and learning about the company and its culture. She mentioned I'd hear back within a week or so about the next steps, as I was the first candidate and she'd update the recruiter. She also said they wanted to move quickly to fill the role. After about two weeks without any news, I followed up with the recruiter. She explained the Director had been traveling and hadn't managed to interview anyone else. She apologized for the delay and said she'd be in touch. Two months went by and I still hadn't heard anything, so I followed up again. By then, I figured I didn't get the job since it had been so long, but I was surprised they didn't even bother to let me know. When I followed up this time, the recruiter informed me they'd chosen another candidate. I was really unhappy with how they handled communication and the whole process. I suspect if I hadn't followed up the second time, I'd still be clueless about my status.

Client Service Representative
I met with the HR manager overseeing my application and the Client Services Director I'd possibly be reporting to. Later that day, I also had chats with the HR Generalist for the Ad Sales team and two sales team members I'd be collaborating with. Everyone was nice and direct. The HR folks focused on my background, while the sales team members described their daily tasks and the accounts they handle.
