Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Paramount Pictures.
Marketing
I had 2 interviews over zoom. The first was a casual chat. The second one went into more detail about my experience and why I was interested in working at Paramount, and asked about films I like.
- What are some films you enjoy?
Marketing
I was contacted by a recruiter and then had a video interview with the hiring leader. We had a good conversation, but then I was ghosted. I followed up but heard nothing back. That's bad form. I've interviewed a lot and every other organization I've interviewed with, including competitors like Warner, Disney, and Amazon, has had the decency to get back to me. I know people are busy, but it's not that hard to close the loop.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this role?
Marketing
The company showed little interest. They took too long to review and approve my application. They never contacted me again or responded to my emails, even though they had scheduled a second interview.
