Got a phone screening with the recruiter who briefly reviewed my resume. Then I had an interview with HR, who went deep into my resume and asked questions from it. They then asked me the bridge brain teaser question and the 4 principles of oop with examples. It took about 2 weeks to get to the technical interview, which involved the 'top k frequent elements' problem. I didn't make it past that, but I heard there was supposed to be one more technical interview with the other company and a project before starting work.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process was quick and easy. It started with a phone screen. Then, I had a video call with the hiring manager where we discussed my resume and solved some riddles. After that, there was a coding interview on MS Teams with two engineers. Finally, I had a technical screen with a project manager to assess my fit within the company. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer and was ghosted, so I had to reach out via email to find out the outcome.

The process started with an initial call, followed by a one-hour screening call. It was quite excessive, a one-hour screening with a recruiter instead of the hiring manager or a technical team member. The recruiter wasn't very tech-savvy either, asking questions as if people were working with SPA frameworks concurrently. Then it moved on to riddle questions found online from about 10 years ago, presented as 'Interview question Microsoft asks you,' which were just riddles. There were no algorithms, no questions about software design, or work style. Given the maximum pay was already low compared to the market, plus negative reviews on Glassdoor, I had to stop and withdraw because it was enough to gauge the company's work experience and the type of people it would attract.

  • Given you're on call at midnight, how do you transport 4 people across a bridge using only one lamp?
