Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Paradyme Management.
AI/ML Software Developer
Had a first call screening, then an interview with the HR Manager. After that, there was a coding interview with a developer where I had to solve a LeetCode problem live and explain the solution details. Then another interview with the team heads where I had to solve more problems.
- Explain the logic for people crossing a bridge with a single light, where they cross one by one.
AI/ML Engineer
The interview process had about four stages when I applied in April 2024. It started with a phone call to talk about my experience. Then, I had a meeting with HR where we went into more detail about the role and they asked some brain teasers. After that, there was a coding interview that involved a Leetcode-style question. The last step was a meeting with someone from their partner company to check if I was a good fit. Overall, it was a pretty easy process, although the HR department could have been more responsive. But they are good in general.
- Can you determine if one string is an anagram of another?
AI/ML Software Developer
It was 4 rounds of interviews. First, there was a screen, then a behavioral interview with some brain teaser questions. After that, there were 2 technical interviews. One technical was with the partner company C3.AI, and another technical was with a Paradyme Engineer. The remaining interviews were with the Paradyme Hiring Team. After the 3rd interview, there was a hiring freeze for about a month. Then I had my last interview and was ghosted by the recruiters for another month or so. I received a low offer compared to the range listed. I tried to negotiate the offer by setting up a meeting. They gave no response until the offer ended up being rescinded with no reasoning besides “not being able to meet it” and no option to accept the original offer.
