The interview process felt really personal and they kept me in the loop about what was going on. I got the sense that my interviewers genuinely cared about getting to know me as a person, not just what was on my resume. They were open to answering all sorts of questions, and you could tell they were really excited about the company and its goals.

The interview was a three step process: First meeting with a Talent Recruiter, second with the Director of Talent, and the third being an in-person interview on site in Chicago. Scheduling was easy using their Paradox app. The first interview was conversational, asking about my resume, role, and the transitions and decisions made between roles or companies. I was moved to the second interview the same evening. The second interview was less conversational, repeating the same resume questions with few others. This is an entry-level position with growth potential into a Customer Service Specialist role, with other less popular growth paths. There isn't much growth if you want to stay as an office administrator or manager. The process was smooth and fast. I wish the second interview had matched the energy of conversational AI, which is at the forefront now. The rejection email was automated with no individual feedback, which is typical but not what I expected given their recruitment technology.

My interview experience with Paradox was hands down the most engaged, friendly, and professional process I’ve been through. Allison, Holly, and Justin all took the time to genuinely understand not just my professional background, but also what drives me as an individual. Throughout my job search, no other company has come close to the level of thoughtfulness and authenticity I experienced with Paradox. They truly stand out in how they approach hiring, and it made a lasting impression.

I applied online and got a referral, then a recruiter texted me asking what I liked about Paradox. Next, I had a phone screen with the recruiter to go over basics like 'tell me about yourself' and my career goals. After that, I spoke with the team manager, mostly about behavioral stuff and getting to know each other. Then came the technical part, which was pretty short and involved API testing with authentication in Postman. The recruiter called again to say I was moving to the final interview with the Chief Product Officer. This interview was mostly a get-to-know-you session and a chance for me to ask about the company. They then made me an offer and we discussed it. I got the official offer by email and managed to negotiate a better relocation bonus before accepting.
