First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Paradigm Strategy.
Senior Account Executive
Started with an HR screening call, then talked with the head of sales who's the hiring manager. Next up was a mock discovery interview, a behavioral assessment interview, and then a final meeting with the CEO. The whole thing was super organized; they kept me in the loop about the timing, what to expect, and gave me resources for each part.
- What's your strategy for developing an outbound pipeline in a new enterprise territory?
Account Executive
Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn because a previous coworker referred me. Had an initial chat with the recruiter, then a second call with the Hiring Manager where we did a mock call/product demo and they looked over my resume via Zoom.
- Can you explain why you didn't inquire with a senior HR leader about their understanding of DEI?
- Please share your motivation for wanting this position.
- Describe a situation where you lost a deal and the lessons you took away from it.
Learning Experience Designer
I had a really great experience interviewing at Paradigm! The interviews were challenging and thoughtful, but also felt very human and empathetic. My conversations were dynamic and engaging, and I felt a genuine connection with everyone I spoke to. It was clear they really valued my questions and wanted my input, not just my answers. Everyone was kind, excited, curious, thoughtful, and warm. The whole process was super transparent and intentional; I always knew what to expect and was kept updated on my progress before the expected dates. My final interviews were right before Thanksgiving, and they kindly let me know I'd get an offer, so I didn't have to worry over the long weekend – which was so thoughtful! They even sent a DoorDash gift card to thank me for my time, which was a really nice surprise. Overall, I had 6 interviews, a request to share my work, and a take-home assignment. I liked that I could show my full range of skills through my work sample, conversations, and the assignment. The whole thing took about a month from applying to getting the offer.
- Can you describe a typical week in your current role, detailing the projects you manage and the stakeholders you work with?
- Regarding measuring impact and incorporating feedback, what's your approach?
- When faced with a task you don't know how to do, what's your process for figuring it out?
Director
Had a phone screen, then a work sample, and then some video interviews before the on-site. Everyone who interviewed me was really thorough and took a lot of notes. The recruiting team was super clear with instructions and let me know where things stood throughout the process. They even let me know when there were delays, which was great.
- Can you share an example of your client management experience?
- How do you foster collaboration within a team?
- Give an instance where you showed a growth mindset.
