Assistant Manager
The recruiter was really upfront and communicative throughout the hiring process. They made sure to highlight my strengths and asked me questions about different scenarios and how I would interact with people.
- Could you describe what constitutes an excellent guest experience from your perspective?
Assistant Manager
The whole thing took about a month, with each interview about a week after the last. It started with HR reaching out to set up a phone interview. My first talk was with the store manager. Then, I had a 3-hour Zoom meeting with a bunch of different people like other assistant managers, area managers, and retail ops folks. HR kept in touch the whole time, which was nice. The last step before the offer was a reference check. HR then called to offer me the job. It was a pretty smooth and easy process. Everyone at Parachute was super friendly and easy to chat with.
- What makes you want to join Parachute?
- Can you tell me about any experience you have working with startups or lean companies?
- Do you have any experience with clienteling?
Manager
It was a 7-interview process over a month. First, a recruiter call. Then, a call with the Store Manager. Finally, I met with 2 Store Managers, an Operations Manager, and the SVP of Retail. Most questions were standard. But in the final interview, they asked about my previous company's fulfillment software and for a client acquisition strategy. They took notes. Three days later, I got a rejection email. It felt like they used me for info about my past work. It was unprofessional, even though I met some great people. If you want someone's experience and ideas, hire them. Otherwise, it feels like you're just mining for info under false pretenses.
- What software did your previous employer utilize for fulfillment operations?
