Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Papernest.
Business Development Manager
The interview process was a bit unprofessional. This company seems to want younger people, under 30, to take profits and pay them minimum wage, which is typical for low salaries in Spain. It's sad how this company is turning into a cheap call center type of place, like Teleperformance.
- Can you tell me about your expectations?
- Could you discuss your relevant work experience?
Business Development
Online interview with a team member you're applying to. Besides questions and requirements, they give an overview of the process, answer questions for each stage, and are honest about candidate evaluation.
- What is your work experience?
- What do you know about the company?
- What are your job skills?
Business Developer
Overall, 4 job interviews for a 4-month internship with a maximum interview duration of 20 minutes. With a different person each time. Finally, a significant amount of time between each interview (at least in my case and for that time). Otherwise, the interviews went like this (in my case) - A first interview to discuss the company, the structure and briefly yourself with a company salesperson - A second interview with a simulation of a hypothetical company case (rather stimulating at the time) still with a - A third interview with a department head and an HR person with questions about your personality and an "enigma" to see our reaction - A fourth interview to discuss the motivations for your application - A fifth call to give a final answer
- Tell me about your motivations for applying to Papernest and joining us?
- Why are you interested in the Barcelona position specifically?
- What are your thoughts on the business developer role, and how comfortable are you with discussions?
