Business Unit Launcher
I applied online for a role and the job description said "Working from Paris preferably, but Barcelona is an option." I thought this meant they were flexible on location. But in the interview, after some initial questions, they asked where I was based. I said I'm relocating to Spain. Then the interviewer said the role was really for Paris-based candidates. I pointed out the part about Barcelona being an option, and they said they thought it meant you had to be in Paris but could visit their Barcelona office sometimes. It was confusing and seemed like they weren't sure what the job description meant. If it's a Paris-only role, it should say that clearly. The way it was written suggested flexibility that wasn't true.

Data Analyst Intern
I had a video call with an HR recruiter that lasted about 15 minutes. We started with me talking about my academic and professional background. Then, the recruiter asked me about my skills and past internship experiences. After that, she asked what I knew about the company and why I was interested in applying. She also briefly explained the two possible teams for the internship (provider and strategy) and mentioned there might be a technical test later.
- Can you share an experience where you used Excel or SQL to process or analyze data?
Candidate Manager
The interview scheduling was smooth and easy. However, the entire process took 1.5 months, with very slow feedback and a lack of transparency. They ask for a business case within two days, then you wait over a week for feedback, often after ignored follow-ups. The attitude towards junior profiles is disappointing, with demeaning comments like 'we took a gamble on your junior profile,' and a poorly perceived salary negotiation, even when responsibilities exceed that level. Management emphasizes individual commitment, often equating it to long working hours, promising rewards. In reality, the compensation policy lacks clarity and transparency—it just feels like they don't want to pay more. Finally, diversity of opinion isn't truly valued; it's better to agree with them to be seen favorably.
- General and simple questions, nothing special.
Sales
There were 2 interviews initially, but then a surprise 3rd interview was decided at the last minute by one of the founders. This founder has never done prospecting himself and seems to enjoy making things difficult for candidates after getting fired from McKinsey. Also, the base salary was significantly reduced from what the HR team mentioned in the first interview. The excuse given was that it's a new position and the salary wasn't confirmed by management yet.
- We've spoken with your former employers; what feedback do you think they gave us?
- The founder will give you a logic test by asking you to stand at a whiteboard while he sits.
