Behavioral Presentation

I found the job through an online application and a referral from someone who works there. The first step was a phone call, followed by two interviews where I had to show my portfolio demonstrating my skills with the tools. They liked my work but were curious why I, with my level of experience, would want to work in retail. I explained that with an 8-month-old baby and a packed schedule, I was looking for a job that was both interesting and flexible. They were pleased to hear that I have a flexible schedule, even accommodating my Sabbath observance. It's been a few weeks, and I'm really enjoying my job!

I saw the PT customer service position on their website. Within a week, I got a call for a simple and pleasant initial interview. They asked me to expand on my resume. This led to a one-on-one interview with the store manager. The interview itself was pretty good. They asked about my background in arts and crafts, my customer service experiences, and how I could improve their services. The only bad part was that they said they'd call within a week to let me know if I got the job, but it's been over two weeks with no word. I find that really rude and annoying.

There were two rounds of interviews. One was with the assistant manager and the other was with the store manager. They will ask very specifically about your creative crafting experience and ask to see samples. They want skilled people who can inspire customers and educate them on different methods. Because the clients can be so diverse, all sorts of personal creative experience is useful to talk about.
