Store Manager
Back in 2004, the interview process was pretty laid-back. We met at a local coffee shop. We chatted about my past work experiences and some general management questions, like what I'd do in different hypothetical situations. After that, I was shown the training program, which only lasted a month, and then I was put in charge of a store.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Store Manager
A friend who works as a cashier told me about this job, so I went to talk to his store manager. He then sent me to the district manager and owner. I asked a lot of questions about the job and really showed that I wanted to be part of the company. I applied online and then had two phone interviews and three in-person interviews. The whole thing took less than a week from my first interview.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you had to motivate people?
Store Manager
I applied online and they got back to me real quick. Then they set up a second interview with the current store manager, and after that, they accepted me for the job.
- Tell me about the most difficult situation you faced in a prior role.
