First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Papa John's.
Supervisor
The interview process was a bit slow, but it was really relaxed and the people seemed great. I would have gladly worked part-time, but I ended up getting a fantastic offer to go overseas. If that overseas offer hadn't come through, I would have accepted their offer for a short-term role.
- Tell me about yourself.
Shift Lead
The interview process was super minimal, honestly. I kind of wish I hadn't even bothered applying or interviewing. The job title was Shift Lead, but it's like there's no real shift lead role because everyone who isn't a driver is apparently one. It felt pretty bogus and like a scam from the company. They initially said I'd be training as a manager, but then they kept giving excuses why that wasn't happening. Eventually, other employees let me know they were hired in the same misleading way. It seems like everyone's competing for this imaginary job that doesn't actually exist.
- Would you accept $10 per hour?
Operations Manager
There are three filters. The first is a psychometric test. The second is an in-person interview where they ask about food costs, turnover, KPIs, and your knowledge of guidelines. It's important that your desired salary is below their offer, otherwise, they won't hire you.
- What is your desired salary range? Important: it needs to be below their offer, otherwise, they won't hire you haha.
