Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pandora Jewelry.
Recruiter
I reached out to a female manager on LinkedIn, expressing my admiration for the company and its transformation, and my interest in interviewing. A junior coordinator responded a week later, thanking me for my application and stating the role had been filled, though it was still advertised. I noted my experience level surpassed that of a German manager who rudely replied on LinkedIn, questioning any transformation and showing no engagement or candidate experience. She implied that fast promotions indicated how things were done there, highlighting their power. It was tragic, as I reject candidates daily and believe it could have been handled with more kindness. I no longer wish to apply there, especially to work under someone junior with a senior title.

Recruitment Manager
First I spoke with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. The recruiter gave a general job overview and put off my questions until later stages, asking standard screening questions. She wasn't very responsive, not even confirming receipt of the assessment task when I asked. The HM didn't seem interested in me, he talked about himself for the first 10 minutes and asked basic questions that repeated what the recruiter asked. Some comments suggested the company isn't inclusive, which removed Pandora from my list of desired employers.

Recruiter
First, I chatted with the Hiring Manager, Toni, who reviewed my background and talked about her vision for the role and the team. Then, I had a second interview with two current recruiters on the team, Dina and Carly. I really enjoyed talking with them and could tell they're building a great team with recruiters who are serious about advancing Talent Acquisition. The whole process was fantastic, and I could see myself joining.
