First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Panda Express.
Sales Associate
It was very casual, the interviewer seemed distracted initially. She asked about my school activities (clubs/hobbies) and my knowledge of Panda. It was a brief interaction. She emphasized asking questions, so I'd recommend preparing at least three insightful ones. Mentioning the '7 Habits' could be beneficial as it's a key theme for them.
- What do you do in your free time?
- What do you know about panda.
- What extracurricular activities do you do in school?
Sales Associate
One of the managers had me sit at a table in Panda Express. We sat across from each other, and she asked me some questions while I answered. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I managed to stay calm. I felt I needed to make eye contact the whole time, even though it felt a little odd. The main thing is to be yourself and be confident.
- Did you ever take on a leadership role?
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your interests?
Sales Associate
The interview process involves two distinct interviews. Initially, you'll meet with the store manager, followed by an interview with higher-level company management. While it might sound intimidating, the interviewers are very friendly and relaxed. Having been with the company for over five years, I found the overall experience to be positive.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What's your motivation for seeking this position?
- How do you see yourself being a good fit for this role?
