Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Panasonic.
Technician
The interview process was pretty simple and organized. First, I had a phone screening with HR, then an on-site interview with the supervisor, which included a quick tour of the workshop. It was a friendly and chatty vibe.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to solve a technical problem quickly.
- Could you share an example of solving a technical issue under pressure?
Maintenance Technician
The interview process was very simple and slow. The interviewer wasn't a people person and had a negative attitude throughout, never saying anything positive about any hourly employee.
- Do you know the Metric System?
- Can you solve basic math problems, like converting fractions to percentages?
Technician
It was easy! I spoke with a recruiter who asked me basic questions about my skills and how I see myself fitting in at Panasonic. They wanted to know what makes me an asset and what skills I bring to the table for the job I'm applying for. My advice is to just be confident and show you're willing to learn the skills the job requires! Also, let them know you'll do whatever it takes to be an excellent employee!
- Can you commit to working a 12-hour shift?
- Can you follow instructions and adhere to the process?
