I applied online and got shortlisted for the Panasonic R&D interview in Singapore. The interview had 3 panelists. I started with a 30-minute presentation, then we had a 45-minute Q&A session. They asked about my past projects, ML technical stuff, and a programming test in an IDE for basics. The ML questions were tough, and I missed some. It was just one interview round. The next day, I got an offer for 4500 SGD (plus AWS and VB) on a 1-year contract.

I interviewed with 2 managers for this role. They were pretty smart, skilled, and mature, which was a nice change from some other interviews where the interviewers can seem immature. There were 2 interview stages, pretty standard. One of the interviewers might have been Japanese; the other one likely depends on the specific job you're applying for.
