Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Palomar Health.
Intern
It was an MMI style interview. The interviewers were pretty indifferent or even cold, so I had to ignore it and be upbeat. I personally didn't appreciate the tone of the entire interview - it was very impersonal and felt like hazing.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, and how they might impact your performance on the hospital floor.
Intern
I applied for the internship online. Then they invite you for an onsite interview. The interview was consisted of 6 rooms. Each room had 2-3 people to interview behavioral based questions. I ended up completing all the interviews and in a few days, they email you letting you know if you got the internship or not.
- Can you describe a situation where you faced a challenge with a coworker and explain what happened as a result?
Internship
It was nice. They were definitely kind and it was an MMI format. The workshop was very helpful since it had a mock interview. The MMI consisted of 3 behavior and 3 others.
- Tell me about a stressful situation and how you managed it.
