Senior Manager
It was a typical panel interview. There were around 8 questions, and each person on the panel asked follow-up questions if they wanted to dig deeper or needed clarification.
- What are your thoughts on the standard questions related to the job description?
Manager
I applied online through their website. A few weeks later, I got a call for some general questions about my experience. Then I moved to the second stage, which got rescheduled twice. We talked about my background and a case study. The case study was pretty wild. I was asked about what makes a cow run or walk into a machine, and I brought up things like an overweight cow and the weather. Then there was a math question: if 8 cows run into the machine... how many patties would be made in an hour? Compared to if 6 cows walk into a machine, how many patties would be made? You had to figure out the difference, which I did. But then you think about it, and it doesn't really matter if cows run or walk, the machine processes them the same way, so there shouldn't be a difference. They never contacted me after the second stage, and I didn't bother following up.
- What determines if a cow runs or walks into a machine?
- Calculate the difference in patties made in an hour if 8 cows run into the machine versus 6 cows walking into the machine.
Case Manager
It was good, lots of questions were directly related to the job description, plus a couple of tough case study questions that I found challenging. It lasted about 40 minutes.
- Can you describe how you assist a client on a one-on-one basis?
