First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Palladium.
Senior Associate
After submitting my online application, I was contacted by HR about three months later for an initial phone screening. The HR representative spent a significant amount of time at the start trying to put me at ease. She asked about my education and work history, but also inquired multiple times about my knowledge of Palladium and my motivation for applying. She expressed doubts about my suitability due to a perceived lack of extensive business development experience, although she assured me I'd hear back the following week. I never did. Six weeks after that call, a different HR contact invited me for a full interview. In the interim, they scheduled an online competency and personality test, and requested documentation like a degree copy and pay stubs, which seemed unnecessary for the stage. The actual panel interview was mostly standard, but the two HR interviewers appeared uncoordinated and unfamiliar with the role's specifics. Furthermore, the salary range mentioned in the job posting and during the initial screening was inaccurate.
- Given the current climate with Brexit, Trump, and decreasing support for development projects funded by donors, what strategies should we employ to secure new business?

It started with a screening call with a recruiter where we discussed general things. Then there was a face-to-face interview with the recruiter and the manager focusing on technical knowledge. After that, we had an assessment center which included logical, numerical, verbal, and personality tests. Finally, there was a final interview with the director.
- What are your salary expectations?
- Why did you choose Palladium?
- What is your knowledge of Palladium?

The interview process involved four stages: a phone interview, a case study, a skills/knowledge test, and a final in-person interview. The interview questions were pretty straightforward, but the case study was a bit tougher, though manageable with prior experience. They also had this IQ/skills test which felt like a gatekeeper – 30 math problems in 15 minutes.
- Can you tell me about your client interaction experience?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult or demanding client and explain your approach.
