So, first there was this online personality test, and then a 2-day interview stint. It was packed with individual interviews, some role playing, chilling with the team, watching a call with another candidate, and finishing up with a Skype chat with the MD. I really dug the whole vibe. I was on the hunt for a company that's transparent, always aiming to grow, and has this accountability thing going on, and Michael Page totally nailed it. It felt like the Chicago office is blowing up and they need folks who are ready to hustle and grab these opportunities, no matter their experience level. Everyone I met, consultants and managers, were so real, sincere, and seriously driven. The questions were tough and definitely put me on the spot, but that's cool because it shows they're serious about who they hire and who represents them. The clincher was meeting the MD from Boston. Super genuine and sharp, he talked about the massive growth in Chicago and at Michael Page. That one-hour chat gave me a huge dose of his leadership style and made me want to work there even more. So yeah, I was pumped when they offered me the job. Was it hard? For sure. But is it worth pushing yourself for a shot at Michael Page? Absolutely!

It was an intensive interview day. We started with about 20 people, and they had us do various activities throughout the day. We had to go around the room, stand up, introduce ourselves, explain our interest in recruitment, share our background, and a fun fact. This was done in front of all other interviewees and about 10 managers who were dressed up. It felt intimidating. Then, we were split into groups of two for a sales role play. We also interviewed separately with two different managers. After that, half of us were sent to another room and told to go home, meaning they didn't get the job. Some managers were very cutthroat during interviews, questioning my interest and whether my background was suitable for recruitment, while others were friendly and welcoming.
