The interview process was easy, they did ask a lot of questions. My interview was about an hour long. Just stay focused on your topics. It seems like a great company to work for.

I had a panel interview with plant management and then a phone interview with the Master Scheduler in Lake Forest, Illinois. It felt like a waste of time because after talking to the Master Scheduler, it was clear they were looking for someone with a Supply Chain Management background and a Math degree.

I was contacted by a recruiter who gave me a quick rundown of the company. A few days later, the recruiter called again for a phone interview where we talked about the main challenges at the Pactiv plant. Then, after a few more days, the HR person at the plant reached out and we had a 45-minute phone chat. Since they liked my responses, they set me up with the Maintenance Head, who used to be a production supervisor, and I had another 45-minute interview with him. They liked how things were going so far and invited me to visit the plant, which was a 4.5-hour drive, for a final interview. This involved meeting with HR, Maintenance, Safety, one of the current Production Supervisors, the Plant Manager, and Engineering. A few days after that, they let me know they wouldn't be making an offer because of my stance on discipline.
