Sales Development Representative
I found this opportunity through 1871 and they reached out almost immediately to set up an interview. They were pretty disorganized though, and kept pushing back our scheduled interview times by 20-30 minutes. Even though the employees seemed nice, the constant waiting wasn't the best first impression. After that, I had a second phone interview, and then went into the office for a two-hour in-person interview.
- They wanted to get to know me better as a person.
- They were looking for someone who is a go-getter and can adapt to the company culture.
- There wasn't anything out of the ordinary with the questions they asked.
Sales Development Representative
I was contacted on Linkedin by a recruiter, and we scheduled a phone call for a week later. The phone interview lasted about 25 minutes, and I was informed that I would advance to the second stage, which was a sales call. I was told to prepare for it, and if successful, I would move on to a third interview, either a Skype call or an in-person meeting in Chicago. I spent 48 hours studying for the sales call, but then 24 hours before the interview, I was notified that I would not be proceeding to that stage. I feel like they rushed my process and didn't properly review my application before having me prepare for the next step. It would have been better if they had made that decision *before* telling me to move forward. While I understand I might not be a fit for every role, I believe applicants deserve the same respect and time investment throughout the process as employers expect from us.
- Can you share an instance where you set a goal and successfully accomplished it?
Sales Development Representative
The interview was very hands-on, and Packback really tries to give candidates a feel for what their daily tasks will be like. If you're not into doing work as part of the interview, then Packback might not be the place for you.
- Tell me about your passions.
