The first part of the interview process is a virtual HireVue Interview with some basic questions like why you want to work there and about your background. If you pass that, you'll have a call with a recruiter for another screening with more behavioral questions. If you pass that too, you'll meet with some senior analysts and actuaries for more behavioral questions. I don't know what's next because they ghosted me after this, even though I tried to reach out.

The initial phone screening covered standard HR topics like your education, past jobs, and self-assessments of strengths and weaknesses. They also asked specific questions about the role, like your Excel skills and knowledge of features like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. The final stage was a group interview via webcam with about 6-7 other candidates and a panel of actuaries. Everyone took turns answering questions posed by the actuaries. The questions weren't particularly surprising, focusing mainly on how our backgrounds in work and education align with actuarial roles. There were also typical HR questions about teamwork, leadership capabilities, and significant accomplishments.

After applying, there was a phone interview with HR, followed by an online group interview with other interns and a panel. The HR person was very friendly and the interview lasted about 30 minutes, covering topics like the number of actuary exams passed and Excel proficiency. Knowledge of VBA was viewed very positively. Having 2-3 exams seemed ideal, although some interns had only one. The online group/panel session felt intimidating. It's important to ensure you have a stable internet connection.
