First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pacific Companies.
Physician Recruiter
The interview process was a bit intense, asking a lot of questions that seemed to focus on high school and personality, plus why I was leaving my current job. They seemed to be looking for info to get me to say something negative about my current employer. Maybe this is how they find the best fit, but I'm not sure why it all matters. I think a simple, honest answer would have been enough, but each question led to deep follow-ups. A recruiter contacted me from a LinkedIn post. We had a phone screen, and then an in-person interview was set for the next week. I was interviewed by two managers. It was a bit intimidating, felt like being grilled for an hour. They were nice guys, but the process didn't make me want to join the company.

Physician Recruiter
They have a good interview process that includes: a screening, a personality assessment, and two in-person interviews with partners. They're looking for good culture fit. Two partners, who lead different physician recruiting departments, will interview you. They are great interviewers so prepare appropriately with answers to both behavioral and situational questions.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with your manager. How did you approach that situation?
- Can you share an instance where you lost a sale? What would you do differently in hindsight?
Physician Recruiter
It started with a phone interview about your past experience and how willing you are to work hard and make a lot of calls. Then they will review your resume and you'll have an in person interview with at least 2 of the 4 current partners. They stress that these discussions are with them.

Associate Recruiter
This company has a really thorough interview process. You’ll have a couple of phone interviews and at least two in-person interviews. You'll meet with the head of talent acquisition and also upper management, including the CEO. They are looking for a specific type of person, which is why they are so successful. They don’t just hire a bunch of new people and see who makes it. They hire the right people, treat them well, and have a cohesive team of awesome employees. It's an amazing workplace.
- Can you tell me about your biggest accomplishment in high school or college?
