They paid for me to fly out to their facility in Washington, and overall it was a pretty good experience. It started with a 30-minute chat with the recruiter. Then, I had to give a presentation on a past project to about seven people. After the presentation, we took an hour-long tour of the facility. Once the tour was done, I had another 30-minute interview with my future teammates, and then a final interview with the Director Manager. Everyone was really nice to me throughout the interviews.

Had a standard phone interview with pre-determined questions. The recruiter missed the first two scheduled interview times, but the third attempt was successful. The recruiter initially said I'd hear back by phone in two days, but after two weeks, I emailed them. Two more weeks passed, and I was told I'd be contacted within a week regarding the down selection. After another two weeks, I finally got a system-generated email saying I wasn't selected. I'm very disappointed with the recruiter and the lack of professionalism, especially for a large company. I won't apply again or consider Paccar due to this poor and unprofessional recruiting experience.

Started with an email from the hiring manager, then a 1-hour phone interview with some basic engineering questions. About a week later, I went for an onsite interview that was super intense. It included multiple 1:1 meetings with managers, a presentation to a big group, lunch with my potential teammates, and then even more 1:1s with managers. The whole thing took up most of the day. I heard back with a verbal offer a couple of weeks after the onsite, and got the written offer the same day.

- Everyone at that location is expected to give a presentation, but there's no guidance on the topic. It seems to be a way to assess how you adapt an open-ended subject to the audience and your communication skills.
