Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PA Consulting.
Solution Architect
It was a three-stage process. First, a tough phone interview where the interviewer actually called the management culture a Ponzi scheme, talking about how senior managers exploit junior staff with unreasonable targets and workloads, leading to a 10% chance of job loss via a compulsory bench policy. Then, a grueling 4-hour panel interview that required creating a 20-minute presentation task just a few hours beforehand, which the candidate questioned the real-world applicability of. Finally, an interview with the direct senior manager, which the candidate described as something slave drivers would do to see their hires up close.
