First, there was a written exercise that took 45 minutes. It involved reviewing a 1-page case study and then writing a 1-page summary and evaluation. After that, I had a competency interview for 1 hour, which included general questions about my experience with stakeholder management, my strengths, and weaknesses. Finally, there was a technical interview for 1 hour focused on BA-specific questions, particularly around agile practices and scenarios.

The interview process began with a 30-minute telephone call. However, the interviewer decided to stop the interview early. Their reasoning was that I was close to the final stages with two other companies, and they were concerned I might receive an offer before they could complete my application, which they felt would be a waste of time.

It was a phone interview, and then an Assessment Centre. The phone interview was pretty easy, asking about general competencies and why I wanted to join PA Consulting. The Assessment Centre had a case study where I had to write a report, plus an interview and a group activity. The interview part dug deeper into the specific sector I applied for and my interest in PA.
