Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pão de Açúcar.

The interview took a while. Actually, the person who was supposed to interview me didn't show up, so it took about half an hour for me to be interviewed. I was the only candidate who showed up, so in a way I advanced to the next stage due to lack of options.
- Was your resume reviewed?
- What is your availability?
- Do you agree with the proposed hours and salary?
Jovem Aprendiz
The interview process had 3 stages. The first stage was a 'test' with personal questions and conflict resolution tasks, plus an essay. The second stage was a group activity where each person played a role like customer or employee (testing skills and problem-solving). The third stage was an individual chat with HR, where I answered some questions, and right after, I got feedback on whether I would be hired.
- Why should we hire you?
Jovem Aprendiz
It was really calm, fast and objective, straight to the point without any beating around the bush. I had to talk to the store manager who asked some questions about my goals and my strengths and weaknesses.
- Tell me about yourself and your qualities
