The interview was straightforward and very well managed by the professional. I felt welcomed. They explained all the benefits and obligations of the role, helping me understand the function point by point and what I could expect from the company. Times, deadlines, and a general company presentation were provided.

The interview took a while. Actually, the person who was supposed to interview me didn't show up, so it took about half an hour for me to be interviewed. I was the only candidate who showed up, so in a way I advanced to the next stage due to lack of options.

Before the interview: Research the company. Know what it does, its mission, values, and what it expects from employees. Review your resume. Be ready to explain your experiences, roles, and achievements. Practice answers to common questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'What are your strengths and weaknesses?' and 'Why do you want to work here?' Organize documents. Have copies of your resume and, if applicable, certificates. Take care of your appearance. Dress appropriately for the company environment (not too formal, not too casual). During the interview: Be punctual – arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Communicate well – speak clearly, avoid slang, and be objective. Body language – maintain an upright posture, make eye contact, smile naturally. Show interest – demonstrate enthusiasm for the role and the company. Respond with examples – when asked about skills, give real-life work situations. For example: 'When I worked at X, I had to solve Y, and I managed to…' After the interview: Thank them for the opportunity – you can do this at the end in person or via email. Show availability – reaffirm your interest in the vacancy. Stay positive – even if you aren't hired, every interview is a learning experience.

A entrevista foi presencial e começou com uma breve apresentação sobre a empresa e os valores do Pão de Açúcar. Depois, me perguntaram sobre minhas experiências anteriores, principalmente com atendimento ao cliente e manuseio de caixa. Também falaram sobre a rotina do cargo e perguntaram sobre minha disponibilidade de horário. O entrevistador foi bem atencioso e quis entender como eu lidaria com situações do dia a dia, como filas grandes ou clientes insatisfeitos. Achei a entrevista tranquila e achei importante demonstrar simpatia, responsabilidade e vontade de fazer parte da equipe.
