Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OYO.
Revenue Manager
The interview focused on verbal communication and real-life property-related issues. They asked about onboarding properties, handling property owners, and why I'd be a good fit for the sales role. They also inquired about my future aspirations and my availability to dedicate maximum time to the company.
- What are your strategies for handling property owners?
- How would you manage the process of onboarding a new property?
- Describe your approach to dealing with property owners.
Senior Sales Manager
The interview process is very clear, and the interviewers have high-level knowledge. There are 3 rounds: 1 HR, 2 TEAM LEAD, and 3 Head of supply. After these, you get your selection results.
- Can you tell me about your past job roles and what you did in them?
- What processes did you follow in your previous roles?
Sales Manager
First, an HR person called to get my resume. Then, the City Head called. After that, I had 3 interviews with 3 different people: one asked basic questions and did introductions, another did a stress interview focusing on my past work, and the last one was with the Hub Head about sales experience.
- Tell me about your first sale.
- Describe your most successful sales deal.
