First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OYO.
Operations Manager
It was a 3 round interview process. The first round was with HR, and the subsequent rounds were with Operations. They emphasized it's a good place to work, and that the office is PAN India, so you can take a transfer and work from your home city. You can also onboard a property.
- Could you please tell me a bit about yourself?
Operations Manager
I went through two interviews and then heard nothing for almost a week. I had to reach out for an update and only received a generic rejection email. It makes me wonder how they treat people. OYO HIRING MANAGERS, please provide interviewees with an outcome or feedback to avoid wasting their time. It's disrespectful to leave people waiting. I won't use this company for accommodation because their process of making people interview over two weeks and then not getting back to them is unacceptable and weak.
- What aspects of your prior job did you find dissatisfying?
- What aspects of your prior job did you find satisfying?
- What do you know about the company Oyo?
Operations Manager
I interviewed for a leadership position in operations management. I felt the people interviewing me were really cocky and a bit out of touch with the US market and its dynamics since they are based in India. They gave me a set amount of time for this position, but in the end, the recruiting team just ghosted me, which felt like a red flag.
- How do you handle changes to constraints?
