Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OVS.
Sales Assistant
It was a job interview where they asked me why I was looking for work and what my expectations were. They mentioned the work environment is demanding, colleagues are great, and the pay is good. Overall, it was a good experience. I worked part-time and full-time there over two summers.
- What is your motivation for seeking this job?
Sales Assistant
I had a call from the recruiter, then I went to the office to talk to the manager and have the actual interview. On the phone, I wasn't asked anything except if I was still interested in the position.
- Were you asked about your previous experiences?
Sales Assistant
It was a very relaxed conversation, the manager was really empathetic, helpful, and very serious. She made me feel comfortable right away by telling me about the brand, the company, the job offer, and chatting a bit about everything, from my previous jobs to my life, my work desires and needs.
- I was asked about other jobs I've had and why I had breaks in my employment history.
- They asked if I drive, if I have a family, and if I am available to work on weekends.
